IDRT is thrilled to announce that The Flood Resilient Aggies Program (FRAP) has been accepted for funding! This collaborative commitment means that the program can now build on and expand educational features for participating students.

Led by Dr. Yoonjeong Lee, FRAP offers a month-long international experience of authentic and transformative learning through immersive research activities leading to an individual case study on flood resilience in the Netherlands. After completion, students will present their work at IDRT’s “Disaster Resilient Student Research Symposium.” The top performing students will subsequently attend an international flood conference.

The awarded funding will be used to develop a long-term education abroad program and will establish a steppingstone for a student exchange program between Texas A&M University (TAMU) and Delft University of Technology (TUD). IDRT is eager to provide this innovative international experience to any TAMU or TAMUG students interested in flood resilience.
