IDRT is partnering with Dr. Robin Murphy, the founder of the disaster robotics field of study, and Dr. Jason Moats, director of the Testing and Innovation Center for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX).
Civic Innovation Concept: At Risk Youth Use High Tech Robots and AI to Help Their Communities Prevent and Prepare for Disasters
Goal: Create new, sustainable and replicable community-centric mechanisms for emergency managers, school districts, and researchers to work together to enable vulnerable communities to prepare for, and mitigate, the impact of natural disasters.
